In this project, the client asked for a cozy and homey lamp for his bedroom. I went outside to look for inspiration, and found myself collecting beautiful fallout branches from a tree in Görlitzer Park. Using a delicate wire and a free jazz technique, I formed a nest-shape lamp shade. When turned on, the light create a magical pattern on the ceiling, and a relaxing “forestry” atmosphere in the room. The client also liked the fact he can now take a walk in the park and meet the tree that gave birth to his lamp. It made him feel connected, he said.
