Hermannplatz is a place of constant motion, the beating heart of Neukölln. “Transit Pipes” aims to map some of the hidden paths formed by the motion of people within this urban space. Using a series of photographs taken in set intervals I managed to map out individuals going through the crowds. The final statue is a simplified used copper tube model of those overlapping paths. Many thanks to Kiritan Flux, Nitzan Prihar and Transmitter.
